AAPA General Black Scholar Fundraising 2024

Support our African Heritage PA Caucus scholarship fund with a tax free donation through the PA Foundation's recent fundraising campaign:


Lifetime Member Sixtus Atabong, DMSc, PA-C DFAAPA, and his non profit organization, Purpose Medical Mission, is planning a fundraising Derby Day Gala on May 4, 2024.  A Mission Trip is also currently planned for Late July to DR Congo and supporting various missions in Cameroon. On behalf of Secretary Xavier Becerra and the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), we would like to invite you to save the date and register for the Black Health Forum. At this Forum, senior HHS, Biden-Harris Administration, and Black health leaders will highlight their work to improve equity and access to health care in the Black community. The Forum topics will focus on health care access, mental health, maternal mortality, and much more. We hope that you will be able to join us!

Dr Kibe and her colleague get some recognition for their efforts to increase the number of Black male PA students with the Empowering Diversity, Growth, and Excellence (EDGE) Program at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science PA Program.

National Medical Association (NMA) Medical Liaison. NMA is an organization that promotes the collective interests of physicians and patients of African descent. Volunteer for this opportunity to represent AAPA by filling out the application located here. The deadline is March 31, 2024. *The full list of AAPA Medical Liaison opportunities is listed here


Physician Associates For Latino Health (PALH) Scholarship also available to any PA student who is also a member of  PALH and SAAPA with an interest in Latino health issues. Deadline is March 31, 2024.


PA Foundation Student scholarships: Application cycle ends March 18, 2024.
