AAPA Chief Medical Officer Opportunity

AAPA's CEO, Lisa Gables is creating a Chief Medical Officer position to join AAPA’s Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to her as CEO. This individual will bring their expertise and experience to the bold and strategic course we have set for the profession and the organization to meet the evolving challenges of a modern healthcare system and to seize the opportunities available to ensure all patients receive the care they need and deserve.

The ideal candidate – a PA – will be an innovative, proactive, strategic, and forward-thinking leader with extensive experience in collaborative leadership, who recognizes the invaluable role of PAs in delivering exceptional medical care. This individual will lead the newly established Clinical Affairs Department, focusing on PA clinical practice, healthcare delivery systems, public health, and evolving trends to inform strategies and innovations to improve patient care and PA value.
