AAPA Volunteer Opportunity to represent the Profession: Deadline February 13, 2023

Exceptional Care’s (IEC) Action to Build Clinical Confidence and Culture (ABC3) Steering Group and appoint an individual to represent PAs and the Academy in this group.  ABC3 is an action collaborative that aims to drive culture change and promote appropriate training among general clinicians, so they are committed, prepared, and empowered to better serve people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDDs).

Ideal candidates for this representative role are PAs with particular experience working with people with IDDs and who have an understanding of the policy and practice concerns related to working with this patient population.

This volunteer opportunity is open until Monday, February 13. Candidates for this role will be submitted to the EAC for review and recommendation.
