Position Description

About the Opportunity

We are seeking Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) - Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants - to provide coverage in the Oncology specialty. The APP will manage oncology patients of varied complexity in outpatient clinics, infusion centers, and inpatient units depending on sub-specialty assignment.

  • Specialty: Oncology
  • Location: Middlesex County
  • Contract Dates: January 19, 2026, ongoing
  • Schedule: 5 days/week, 8-hour shifts
  • On-Call: No

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to oncology patients in assigned settings (outpatient, inpatient, infusion).
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient encounters in Epic EMR system.
  • No anticipated procedures or surgeries.
  • Patient load varies by sub-specialty.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Licensure: Active NJ license
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, APPs, RNs, and MAs
