1. Describe myeloma, including etiology, signs and symptoms, diagnostic tests and risk factors
2. Identify disparities in diagnosing myeloma in Black and African American populations
3. Outline the role of the PCP in facilitating referral to a hematologist-oncologist or medical oncologist and in communicating with the patient about goals for treatment
4. Describe treatment approaches, including side effect management
5. Provide education and support referrals to LLS and other organizations
